A perfect new bathroom

I"ve saved some money recently and have been thinking of redecorating my bathroom. It looks really dull, I haven"t changed anything for years, and I must add that the cabinet and the fixtures are a bit worn-out. I"ve been thinking of a vintage new bathroom. I like unexpected juxtapositions like the old and the new, the stylish and the kitschy. I would like to have a big bath in the middle of the bathroom. It should be the kind of bath that is not attached to the floor in any way. Just a free standing bath tub. I will also buy some white tiles, or if it is possible, some bathroom wallpaper. I don"t want the walls to look too modern. The furniture should be wooden, but simplistic cabinets are not what I"m interested in. I"m going to look at some antique shops to find old fancy cabinets with lots of ornaments. An old mirror would also look fantastic in my new bathroom. And I"m looking for some nice rugs and shower curtains (I want some curtains around my bath tub). Well, I guess I don"t have enough space in my bathroom and I"ll have to skip some elements. But I still want to keep the vintage style. I"ve spent the night searching for interesting furniture on the net and I"m about to ask a friend, who"s an experienced interior designer, to help me make good choices.
