Pure cash for gold business

Last Monday I managed to sell my old car. I couldn't stop myself from organizing a party to this occasion as it has been almost a decade of unsuccessful tries of getting rid of the machine. Years ago, the car was just outstanding, it was a black metallic and the impression it made was superb. My friends advised me not to sell me, because it would be unwise to Sell gold in pure form for only the amount of money it was worth these days. Now, after some years it really looks more like gold, as there is some rust all over the car. Everyone laughed that if I manage to sell this car it is going to be a real cash for gold transaction, as the color of rust was a bit golden actually. Eventually I got lucky and managed to get rid of the machine for twice as much as I expected. Even though it was not quite a cash for gold transaction, both sides can be equally happy. I had to say goodbye to a part of my by selling it. I never used to Sell gold in pure form, maybe I'm too good for the society? It should have cost a lot more I guess when we look at it from that perspective. Anyway at least I became a bit famous among my friends for conducting a truly cash for gold trade and benefiting from it very well.
